Kink Out: Leather Lit Day
As an extension of Kink Out’s residency at MoMA PS1, which culminated with Kink Out: SPACES on February 9, LEATHER LIT DAY brought together kink and sex working people and allies for a day of storytelling, zine making, and community building.

About Kink Out
LGBTQ leather folk and sex workers have enriched the NYC art and design world by creating art and inspiring artists, yet our communities are rarely recognized as legitimate culture creators and are instead relegated as subculture.
We are not a culture beneath the mainstream.
We are the instigators; the spellcasters; the heralders for true freedom of expression, bodily autonomy, inclusion of intersectional identities, and consent dialogue.
Kink Out brings intersecting communities together. As an ever-evolving container, Kink Out is a performance space, screening room, art collaboration, panel discussion, S&M club, call to action, tattoo studio, art auction, and fundraiser for communities most affected by the injustice of censorship, criminalization, and demonization of our lives and livelihoods.
